ANSMANN presents the joint project “Battery Pass” by HK.DIGITAL and TAP2CLOUD
in Hall 13, Stand C78. Hall 13, Stand C78
Batteries and energy storage systems are a central component of the energy transition and electromobility – and at the same time an enormous challenge for sustainability and recycling.
In order to make the life cycle of batteries more transparent and promote the circular economy, the Battery Passport will become mandatory with the introduction of the new EU Battery Regulation. It documents the entire life cycle of a battery – from production to use and recycling – and creates trust by providing reliable information on the origin, composition and sustainability of batteries.
HK.DIGITAL has upgraded the first ANSMANN products with IoT electronics, which also make all battery usage data available live via mobile communication. The data ends up in a cloud platform developed by HK.DIGITAL and TAP2CLOUD, which already meets all the requirements of the EU regulation. This is the first time that explicit statements about the condition and reusability of batteries are available online.
