The successful partnership between ROBIOTIC GmbH, the sister company of HK.DIGITAL, and DENIOS – the world’s leading company when it comes to solutions for the safe storage and handling of hazardous substances and operational safety in the workplace – has now been in place for over five years.
The successful DENIOS connect web platform with its digital adaptations such as networked cabinet systems and the SpillGuard, a revolutionary hazardous substance leakage warning system, are the result of this intensive and fruitful collaboration.
Hardware gateway for room systems from DENIOS
Now we are taking the next step with a hardware gateway: we have expanded our product family at DENIOS to include room systems via the SpillGuard® and cabinet systems. And created a nanosystem that communicates with their PLC (programmable logic controller). Not a standard product, but a gateway specially developed by HK.DIGITAL to meet the high DENIOS requirements – for controlling the collected information.
A large amount of data is collected from various sensors within the room systems – via air conditioning systems, fire alarms, etc. – sent to the DENIOS/ROBIOTIC Cloud and bundled there. The new product replaces the previous DENIOS industrial gateway indoor system. HK.DIGITAL not only supplies it for newly produced room systems, but also replaces all old components in existing systems.

– Reliable, transparent data control: We use time stamps to check when which data was transmitted to us from the customer’s PLC. This approach offers the customer further valuable data analysis options: For example, they can ideally track and correct any existing misconfigurations of their PLC.
